Lass o'Gowrie open mic. Updated.

Lass o'Gowrie open mic. seems to be happening regularly on a Thursday. More Central than South, but not much on Thursdays except Jozephs club so I'm going to check it out. Handy for the staion or the 42 bus so access is good.
Was a disaster. Nothing doing! Had been a play Bubbles earlier. I'm told it's very good. Went to Chorlton. Heading for Chorlton Folk club. Waylayed at the Gallery by an unusual (and agreeable) conjunction of B Jones R Fiskin M Walklate S Homer etc. boozing on the patio. Band too loud for me. Some unpleasantness on the other side of the patio. Not my favorite place. There is a vacancy for a really amiable laid back Thursday Jam venue since Pascal closed and Calyso George's gig there finished.
